Our cutting garden produces an abundance of beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage throughout the year. The first flowers emerged from the quiet of winter in late March; beginning with hellebores, wild cherry blossom, woodland bluebells and snowdrops, followed by alliums, anemones, fritillaria, hawthorn, hyacinth, muscari, narcissi, ranunculus, and tulips, some blooming beautifully until June. There is no guarantee that the season will be the same in 2020, the Scottish weather can bring strange timings; its unpredictability thwarting any judgement calls. The following gallery is an overview of the range of varieties we grew in 2019.
