Our cutting garden produces an abundance of beautiful, seasonal flowers throughout the year. Summer arrived around June-July when the garden and meadow became suddenly and gloriously floral and full. We saw flushes of ammi, cosmos, echinacea, foxgloves, garden roses, gypsophila, pinks, poppies, snapdragons, sweet peas, verbana, and later, on the cusp of Autumn, achillea, amaranthus, carnations, chrysanthemums, crocosmia, dahlias, gladioli, lavender, mallope, and lots of seeds pods. In 2019, our growing season ended in mid October, after a 7 month growing season, with a few brave flowers blooming on in the tunnel into November.
