As a member of our Seasonal Pursuits community, you will receive:
Watch Lauren and Louisina working with flowers in real time; arranging, growing, harvesting, and responding to each season. Our process, core principles and techniques are shared thoughtfully and are shaped by our extensive industry experience and passion for garden-style floral design and growing cut flowers.
Carefully written and beautifully illustrated workbooks to support your practice away from the screen, in the garden, at home, in your studio. Each guide combines practical knowledge, seasonal insight, and reflective prompts, offering a deeper understanding of flowers, materials, seasons, and methods.

Education materials that connect growing and flower arranging to support flower lovers to grow the gardens of their dreams and create beautiful arrangements to be proud of. Learn how to work with what is available, how to grow it, and explore the connection between the garden and the vase.

New resources are released monthly, allowing time for your learning to settle into practice. The intention is to accompany you throughout the year, offering the companionship and community that many creatives need to support a more meaningful and connected way of working with flowers.

How Seasonal Pursuits Works
Choose a monthly or annual membership and gain immediate access to our growing library of seasonal resources. Browse illustrated guides, downloadable workbooks, filmed workshops, and practical tools designed to deepen your seasonal practice. You can work through the materials at your own pace.
Each month, we release an episode of our monthly workshop series Designing with What the Land Gives. We create a floral design using the month’s unique seasonal ingredients. All sessions are recorded and available with your membership, allowing you to watch and rewatch in your own time and to flower arrange alongside us.
Members are invited to join our Instagram channel: Hands & Flowers. A place where we share additional seasonal notes, reflections from the field and studio, and practical guidance connected to each month’s learning. It is a place to ask questions, join the conversation, and deepen your understanding of the materials.
As a Seasonal Pursuits member, you will receive 10% off all in-person workshops and courses throughout the year. Join is in-person in in the studio and on the farm for hands-on workshops and courses. Your online membership is complemented by the opportunity to step into the real-life experience.
Seasonal Pursuits is a garden of inspiration; an evolving body of work and a place to return to season after season, allowing your knowledge and confidence to grow over time, with the flowers. As a member you’ll have continuous access to all seasonal workshops, illustrated guides and resources, not just what’s new each month.
There is no fixed pathway or finish line; instead, it is an expanding collection of thoughtful resources you can revisit and work with as your practice evolves.

OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY
In 2018, after Louisina’s forty years in the floral industry, and Lauren's lifetime of growing up in a flower shop, we bought a few bulbs and a packet of seeds. The flowers grew, and so did we.
What began as an interest became an obsession, not just with the flowers themselves, but with how they made us feel; the sense of achievement, the beauty, the meaning, and the intimacy of being truly connected to our materials.
We learned everything we know by doing; growing the flowers, working the land, arranging the flowers, and letting each process lead the way. When we started tuning in to a seasonal rhythm, something shifted. The work became clearer, more meaningful, and endlessly inspiring. We have been listening ever since.
Seasonal Pursuits is the space we wish we’d had at the beginning. We have created it for you and we continue learning through it too. It exists to support a more thoughtful way of working with flowers, shaped by seasonality, creativity, patience, sustainability, and care.

After what seems like a long winter, I treated myself to this and oh my goodness it's been the best thing I have done this year! Seasonal Pursuits by Days of Dahlia is something I really look forward to every month. Lauren and Louisina are amazing teachers, their videos are beautiful and I feel like I am in their beautiful space with them. It's all really easy to access and also really informative at the same time. Thank you so much! Can't wait to keep on going my floristry and gardening adventures and start growing my own flowers!

This has been just the right level to give me the knowledge and confidence I needed to start. There is no pressure, no overwhelm and you don't feel like you need to get it perfect every time.
