A Modern & Creative Flower School Teaching Seasonal & Sustainable Floristry Near Glasgow

Our flower school is based in South Lanarkshire, near Eaglesham and a short drive from Glasgow. It is hosted in a 52 square metre studio within a converted stable block, now a bespoke floral studio, just a stone’s throw from the field where we grow our flowers. The space is bright, spacious, and calming, filled with flowers, vases, and floristry tools. It is a creative haven where people come to learn floristry, relax, develop skills, begin a career in sustainable floristry, meet like-minded people, or simply spend time surrounded by flowers.

Learn Seasonal,
Garden-Led Floristry

We host a creative programme of sustainable floristry workshops and courses celebrating natural, seasonal flowers, combining garden-led flower arranging with practical tuition in foam-free and plastic-free mechanics. Each workshop provides detailed instruction in core floristry skills and covers a range of designs, from bouquets and wild, gestural arrangements to sculptural installations, wearable accessories, botanical dyeing, and business skills. We teach naturalistic floral design across professional floristry, home arranging, growing flowers, sustainability, floristry business practice, event work, and photography.

Bespoke Teaching

Our aim is to provide every student with a unique, immersive learning experience in naturalistic floristry. We teach core skills for creating garden-style arrangements, from “twist” and “hand vase” bouquet techniques to traditional methods using kenzans, moss, and chicken wire armatures to conceal water vessels, alongside other innovations developed over four decades in the industry. Students are supported in developing their own floral style and encouraged to build confidence through experimentation with colour, proportion, shape, symmetry, and asymmetry, exploring a personal and creative connection with flowers.

Our Ethos

Sustainability is central to our flower school and the floristry we teach. We are committed to caring for the environment, supporting human wellbeing, and promoting ecological awareness through every aspect of our practice. We carefully consider all choices to reduce our carbon footprint, minimise waste, and use eco-friendly materials and water-conscious methods. Our teaching focuses on seasonal, zero-waste floristry that is practical and achievable for students to apply in their own work. We believe in running a profitable business where people and planet are never secondary to profit.
