Learn the art of naturalistic floral arranging with a pin frog
A kenzan (also referred to as a "frog") is a weighted base of pins which holds flower stems upright creating a 'growing up from the vessel' illusion. It is an essential tool for the modern flower arranger, designer, or florist.
Join Lauren & Louisina in their bright, flower filled studio while they walk you through how to use frogs – a simple, elegant and sustainable way to give a natural structure to flower arrangements and can be used across many different designs. Participants will learn how to create a light and airy composition where the stems appear to naturally emerge from the vessel. The class will include a demonstration and walk through on the technique, how to choose the right vessel and stems for your frog, and support you to make a beautiful and elegant arrangement. Each participant will receive their own flower bowl and frog to take home.
The class will include a demonstration and walk through on the technique. Support and guidance will be given on the construction of the design with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
