Join Lauren & Louisina in their bright, flower filled studio and immerse yourself in the magical world of garden flowers and floristry. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the Days of Dahlia tutors, gain an insight into our techniques, and see firsthand the beauty and creativity that defines our floristry. Whether you are a florist, gardener, aspiring florist, or simply curious about the art of floral design, this open day promises inspiration and connection. Join us for a day of beautiful flowers, expert guidance, and a peek at our exciting offerings for our future flower school programme.

We will open the day with a presentation about our teaching methods, sustainability ethos, and our backgrounds. There will then be a series of demonstrations; a handtied bouquet using the "twist" technique in our signature, garden style, a wearable floral accessory made without wires, tape or glue, and a gestural garden-bowl created with sustainable mechanics.

If you wish to book a workshop, purchase flower arranging tools and vessels on the day, we accept card and contactless payments.

Our flower school near Glasgow delivers a programme of sustainable floristry classes and courses that celebrate seasonal flowers, combining the art of garden-style flower arranging with practical tuition on sustainable, foam-free and plastic-free mechanics. We provide support and inspiration in developing your own floral style and encourage you to develop confidence and flair by slowly building your taste and experience. By allowing yourself to be attuned to nature and its imperfections, your arrangements will in turn be more authentic and more beautiful. Our workshops always use our own farm-grown flowers. We don't use imported flowers, floral foam or plastic in any of our work or teaching.
