Our flower school delivers a number of workshops and masterclasses focusing on the contemporary application of traditional floristry techniques. We exclusively don’t use any floral foam or plastic in our work or teaching, opting for sustainable methods and reusable or compostable materials such as moss, willow, metal, and twine. All of our workshops are designed to encourage participants to express their individuality and creativity.
All workshops include helpful tips and advice on flower conditioning, buying and selecting flowers, vase life, and other essential flower care advice. The Flower School is open to all levels, from beginners to seasoned florists and arrangers looking to rejuvenate their practice with new ideas.
Each session includes a discussion and demonstration, followed by time to focus on the exercise and techniques of the day. There will be plenty of refreshments provided to keep the creative energy flowing. At the end, we will allocate time to document your finished piece using natural light and a backdrop to help you style the perfect image for your floral portfolio.
All flowers, vessels, materials, aprons and tools are provided. You are welcome to take flowers home after the workshop to enjoy. Places are limited, we keep our workshops small and intimate so that every participant can benefit from individual attention. Reserve your place by booking online via our shop or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please read our Payments, Cancellations & Refunds Policy prior to booking.
We offer a 10% discount for students. Payment plans are available upon request, please email for more information.

Days of Dahlia is a floral design studio and cut flower garden based on a family farm in the South Lanarkshire countryside approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre. The studio is run by mother and daughter Lauren and Louisina.
Louisina has an extensive 40 years’ experience in all aspects of floristry design. Lauren is an artist and sculptor, with 10 years’ experience in creating exhibitions, installations and workshop design and grew up in a flower shop. Both share a passion for garden-grown flowers, unusual varieties, foraging, and have extensive experience in garden-inspired floristry.
We love meeting new people, teaching and sharing our love of flowers with others and through that becoming more engaged with the natural world and our environment.
