LEARN THE ART OF FLOWER ARRANGING
Experience the art of floral design like never before with a Days of Dahlia's 1-2-1 Masterclass and learn directly from Lauren and Louisina, Scotland's leading floral designers in their bright, flower filled studio. Learn how to arrange exquisite garden-grown flowers in a creative, welcoming and supportive environment. Bespoke flower-arranging classes are specifically tailored to your requirements; learn the basics, focus on a specific technique, rejuvenate your floristry practice with new ideas or develop existing skills. Tell us what you would like to focus on most and we will create a bespoke masterclass based on your objectives and aspirations for the day.
We will teach you our own personal approach to flower arranging giving you insight and direction on how to work with shape, colour, texture, tone, and scale in a loose and expressive manner. Learn our key design principles and how to consider season, setting, style, and materials. We will talk you through you the delicate balance of combining different elements in the practice of natural and artistic flower arranging.
Our sustainable floristry workshops provide support and inspiration in developing your own floral style and encourages you to develop confidence and flair by slowly building your taste and experience. By allowing yourself to be attuned to nature and its imperfections, your arrangements will in turn be more authentic and more beautiful.
Each student will be provided with an exciting and varied selection of our seasonal, farm-grown flowers and foliage to work with. Our workshops always use our own farm grown flowers. We don't use floral foam or imported flowers in any of our work or teaching.
Delicious refreshments will be served to keep the creativity and energy flowing. All refreshments, materials, flowers, and the use of tools and sundries are included in the price of this workshop.
