Wedding flowers for the wild at heart

Join Lauren and Louisina in their bright, flower filled studio for an in-depth, two-day sustainable floristry course in designing naturalistic, garden-inspired wedding flowers. In our relaxed studio environment, we will introduce you to our creative approach to designing flowers for weddings. Learn how to select seasonal, botanical materials and create arrangements in a garden-gathered style using sustainable 'foam-free' techniques. The course will include creative and practical tips on creating floral designs for weddings, sourcing local ingredients, communicating seasonality and sustainability with clients, making and transporting arrangements, along with lots of inspirational designs, colour palettes and recipes. Learn how to design detailed and romantic wedding party florals, showstopping ceremony installations, and luxurious table flowers and centrepieces.

Day 1

Bouquets and Floral Accessories

Master the garden-style bouquet making technique using the ‘twist’ to create effortlessly beautiful, bridal bouquets in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Learn how to create intricate and detailed boutonnieres and hair combs including how to keep accessory florals fresh out of water for up to 72 hours.

Day 2

Ceremonies and Dinners

Learn how to create a floral pillar and wildflower meadow covering the essential building blocks in creating large-scale, naturalistic installations with seasonal materials and foam-free mechanics. Learn how to make a vessel-less wedding table centrepiece where the flowers appear to have grown from where they are placed. Pair your centrepiece with other tableware, candles and silks and play with tablescaping using our beautiful wedding prop collection.

Surrounded by the most beautiful flowers of our farm season, you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of wedding flowers, building up a rich repertoire that stretches from delicate accessories to building showstopping ceremonies.
