Join us this festive season for a special Christmas shop event as we transform our flower studio into a warm and welcoming festive wonderland, filled with winter botanicals, dried flowers, candlelight, the scent of evergreens, mulled wine, and lots of fine things to browse and buy.
There will be a curated collection of ceramics, fresh foliage wreaths, dried flower wreaths, handmade decorations, handmade stockings and aprons, beeswax candles, silk ribbons, flower arranging tools, books, prints, and more. We will be hosting a live demonstration on how to create a fresh foliage wreath without plastic, wire, tape, or glue, and discussing how to make use of your garden when decorating for Christmas.
When winter descends, we love nothing more than to create a vintage Christmas atmosphere at home. There is nothing better or more needed at this time of year than the warmth, nostalgia, and timeless magic of a natural, botanical Christmas. Think stockings hanging along a fireplace, bows on everything, twinkling lights, heirloom decorations, dried fruit, chestnuts roasting, a crackling fire, the scent of pine and woodsmoke, Bing Crosby's “White Christmas”, a real Christmas tree covered in glass baubles, the aroma of cinnamon and spices, brass bells, and magic. For us, Christmas decor should feel authentically seasonal and hark back to simpler times.
We have been working hard with our sewing machines and hands to create this beautiful collection of thoughtful touches for your home with an emphasis on the winter season rather than just for Christmas. Don’t miss this opportunity to shop our beautiful creations in person; these items will not be available online this year as we work to promote local craft, independent shops and lowering that all important carbon footprint during the festive period when millions of items are shipped around the world.
We will be open from 10am-4pm on Saturday 6 December and Sunday 7 December. The shop is open for drop-ins during these opening hours. The live wreath demonstration will be hosted at 1pm on both days. The ticket price is refundable on your items and you will receive £5 off your purchases on the day.
